Alabama Hills Mine

So after some hiking and exploring we take off for the town of Lone Pine. At a junction we spot a stamp mill perched on the side of hill. With many small roads leading in the direction, we decide to go for it. The road up to the mill was very steep and loose. 4 wheel drive was needed to climb the hill, but the payoff was worth it.

From up there the view was incredible. You could see the complete layout of the mine, and more shafts down below.
