Salsa Fargo!

by Errin on August 28, 2009

Just picked up a Salsa Fargo from the guys at Topanga Creek Bicycles. I didn’t intend to get it, but after a test ride I was hooked. This bike begs you to go on an adventure. I’ve already outfitted it with Old Man Mountain front and rear racks, and I’m just waiting for some pedals. My plan was to do an overnighter within the next couple of weeks. However, we have some large fires burning locally so it may have to be delayed.

Here are a couple of pics from a shakedown ride at Lake Cachuma.

This was my first time riding singletrack. Having ridden Trials Motorcycles I was able to make it through the obstacles with ease. The 29′s ate up just about everything I threw at them.

The best thing about this bike is cruising along, spotting a trail and going for it. It truly is a dual-sport bike.
