Labor Of Love Car Show

by Errin on September 13, 2009

My friend Marcos and his car club held their car show this weekend. I hadn’t been to a car show in quite some time. Mostly due to riding bicycles. I was looking forward to seeing some cool rides, and I wasn’t dissapointed. Here are just a few photos.

I’m a sucker for wagons. This one was very cool. I wish my commuter was this nice.

Another wagon. This car comes to the regular meet. It’s my favorite one.

Car guys always come across cool things. This guy was riding around on this bike. He told me it was a dumpster find. It was an AMF Hercules. Appeared to be made in England, but rebadged as an AMF.

It had a Sturmey Archer 3-speed hub.

The car show was fun, but the bike was my favorite thing. Funny how that happens.

The wagons are great, and they look genuinely vintage. I love the blue wagon, except that there is a brown smudge on its hood. But, I guess it can be remedied with a bit of paint.
