New (to me) Bicycle Shops

While riding around LA I’ve come across two new shops. The first one is Flying Pigeon-LA. They sell the Flying Pigeon bikes from China as well as other city bikes. They also carry Dutch bikes like the Batuvus and Toer. I rode down to the shop on Christmas Eve and met Joseph. I was very excited to see that he stocks assorted Schwalbe tires and Velo Orange parts. They are located at 3714 N. Figueroa St in Highland Park, and just a couple doors down is the Bike Oven. One of these days I’m going to make it to their monthly Get Sum Dim Sum Ride. This is a shop that I will be back to visit.

The second shop is Zycle Path. They are on Sunset Blvd, just east of Sunset Junction. I haven’t stopped by yet, but by the looks of it the shop is geared towards fixed gear riders. I’ll try and check it out soon.
