Slacker Training
Well, I guess I should admit it. I’m not off to a good start. This past week I started a 10 week schedule of training rides that will lead me right into the Hell’s Gate Hundred. Of the 6 days I should’ve pedaled, I only pedaled 2. How could this have happened? Work made it hard for one day, but mostly it was laziness. My goal this week though is to get back on track. I won’t worry about making up any miles, because, just by riding to work I’m doing more miles than scheduled, at least in the beginning. The trick though is just to keep it up. I thought that if I scheduled out my rides it would be easier to do them. Turns out it’s just as easy to slack off.
