On track

by Errin on February 5, 2010

So far this has been a great week of riding. My legs felt great every day. In only 3 days of commuting I have a couple of highlights to share. First was a 3 man commuter paceline that lasted for about 1/4 mile. That was pretty fun even though it was short. Another one was one night I caught and passed a group of fixed gear riders climbing Sunset Blvd and then dropped them on the descent. I was on my 53lb Long Haul Trucker too! They should’ve dropped me! Lastly was a new route that I tried out. The mileage is about the same, but it’s more scenic. The good/bad/good again part is that it goes through the area where all the good taco trucks park. I have to be careful there. Too much good food.

Thursday was my day off, and I won’t be able to ride today, but I’ve racked up more than enough miles to cover losing the day. There is a chance of rain on Saturday, but I need to keep the momentum going. All of my riding has been commuting miles this week, so I don’t have any new pictures to share. Riding through the city this week has been great, but it’d be nice to be farther away from it all.
