Descent to La Tuna Canyon Video
Ok, disclaimer here. If you’re bored easily or don’t care for mountain bikes, you won’t like today’s post. This is a 5 minute video of the descent down towards La Tuna Canyon. I’m riding the Salsa Fargo. It took about 30 minutes for the complete descent, but I’ve edited it down to 5 minutes. Best to choose the HD option on Youtube and just let it load. Be patient, it’s easier to watch that way.
I’m headed up to Santa Barbara to see a surgeon today. I want to get a second opinion on how my foot has healed. I’m kinda nervous about what he’s going to recommend. If I need to go in for a second surgery that will put a wrench in my current cycling goals. I may be watching this video over and over for the next few weeks. I hope it goes well.
Go out and pedal today!
looks fun! i need to join you next time.
good luck at the surgeon’s office, i hope it’s all good news.
Let me know when. I’ve got some other areas I need to check out soon. They won’t be trails like in the video, I promise.
Incredible! I love the way the trail skirts the edge of the canyon.
Yeah, that was really cool. It was also kinda scary. Especially because I’d already crashed 2 and ended up off the trail, but there was much room there. I didn’t want to end up off the trail on those sections!
Errin!
I won’t be riding Otto, sorry. But I will have a great bike. I call it the Croclo-zeiss. (ZCyclocross, geddit?)
I hope you ‘ll come up and say howdy cuz I’m gonna be too tired to remember your picture/face… JP Alice
Jacquie,
Many thanks for the comment on my small timey blog here. I look forward to meeting you next week.
