How to answer that?  Basically I thought they were similar, but he explained the different geometries between the two.  That was admittedly over my head.  The core though was that the Fargo was an MTB that could be ridden on the road, and the Drakkar was the opposite.  Road bike ridden off road.  You could tell immediately that they were 2 very different bikes aimed at very different things.  As Sean said, &quot;you can&#039;t see geometry&quot;.</description>

I have a Drakkar in the garage half-built - awaiting a few more parts.  I&#039;m building it with 650b initially before deciding whether it will be more of my rough touring bike or my city bike.

Either way, it will eventually get a Rohloff.</description>
