Olympus E-P3

by Errin on September 30, 2011

New camera time! The Olympus E-P3 is my first foray into the the Micro 4/3rds format. More control than my Lumix LX-3, less weight than a DSLR. A compromise that, so far, I’m willing to make. I’ve been using it for the last week on my commute. The Super Cat stove pics are from the E-P3, as well as the most recent posts on Fatbikeinthecity.com. All of these pics were taken with the Lumix 20mm/1.7 lens. Awesome btw.

Here are a couple shots. I haven’t done any post processing with these. No sharpening, nothing. Really enjoying it so far. Would love a wireless remote for it though. If you know of anything that will work with it, let me know.

Sweet. I’ve been reading about micro 4/3 cameras with some interest. These images look nice — is that the same model Russ got (pathlesspedaled)?

Nice. I probably can’t resist buying the 20/1.7 lens much longer. Though the Olympus 45/1.8 also seems great, the Lumix 20/1.7 is more versatile.
