A busy weekend of family, but some time for a short ride.
Sights from around the city! Warning--NO BIKES!
New Feature! Every Friday will be pics from my commute into work of the city. No Bikes! Well, hopefully.
Union Station, Los Angeles.
A strangely clean pole in the city.
The New Moon (Metric) Century I rode in last weekend took us past the Rock Store. I was caught descending the Mulholland by RockStorePhotos.com. I thought I’d share it here. I’m wearing my kick ass Topanga Creek Bicycles jersey. If you’re in the area, be sure and check them out. My LHT and Salsa Fargo came from them.
Here’s a short video I made from this past Thursday’s ride in Griffith Park. I’m using a VIO POV1 mounted to my helmet.
I saw Lance for probably a total of 2 seconds, maybe 3. After the loop we rode some dirt roads out of Griffith Park and then headed into work. I’m on my Surly LHT and my friend Bruce is on his Rivendell Bleriot. I can’t figure out how to allow the video to play here, so click the video and it will play from my smugmug. Enjoy.
My friend Marcos and his car club held their car show this weekend. I hadn’t been to a car show in quite some time. Mostly due to riding bicycles. I was looking forward to seeing some cool rides, and I wasn’t dissapointed. Here are just a few photos.
The car show was fun, but the bike was my favorite thing. Funny how that happens.
