DIY Frame Bag. My First Attempt!

Thanks to the inspiration and help from Eric Parsons and Scott Felter I attempted to make my own frame bag. This is probably the most challenging piece of gear that I’ve attempted to make. I’ve made a couple vests, but they seemed simpler. Maybe because it was a kit, which included patterns and some guidance. A custom frame bag is a different beast. You have to make your own patterns and make your own decisions on placement of the different pieces.

Despite a few setbacks, I learned a ton while making this bag. I’m going to make a couple more for myself to work out the kinks. Then, who knows, maybe I’ll be able to make them for some friends.

Yes, but I’m going to add Ballistic material to the downtube and seatube sections.
